No time to Create

That's me at the minute.  No time to create for myself actually, because I am working on a commissioned project that I am nearing the end of.  And when it is finished I will share some pic's with you.

But for now I wanted to share with you an opportunity you shouldn't miss if you live here on the Central Coast of NSW.  My super-talented friend, Liz Walker is offering Santa Hat photos this year............and you really shouldn't miss out.  Cause did I mention she is super talented?????  Check out the details below or click here to go to her blog to check out her work and details.  She is AMAZING!!

Thank You

A lovely friend, Miss Andrea kindly sent me this stamp set home with Tracey recently.  It is so darn cute and from Kikki K would you believe it?  And look how the little bird is stored in the big block, love it.

So I decided that her kindness needed a Thank You card.  And I made it with the cute stamp of course.

Sigh.........I love Kikki K.  Thanks so much Andrea.

Cheers

We Wish You a Merry Christmas

I haven't quite got the Christmas music out yet, or the decorations.  But I have been busy making some cards to send.  And I might even send them this year (most years I just plain forget and leave it too late).  The other day I was lucky enough to have a few girlfriends over to create Christmas cards with, and between the loud music, the chatting and laughter and the food, I created these cards.

Now you all know I love my stamps.  And Papertrey Ink is one of my favourites.  They are available HERE only.  But in the US they do some craft shows and when we went over for CHA I was lucky enough to visit one of their stands and spent a TON of $$$$ on some sets and dies.  Love them!  Anyway, this card is a collaboration of numerous brands.  So the background set is Papertrey Ink 'Dot Spot', the word is from Stampin' Up's 'Welcome Christmas' and the flourish is from {ippity}'s 'Regal Greetings', (click on the links to find where to purchase these sets).

Sigh!.........I love this shilouette image from the Stampin' Up set called Welcome Christmas.  Very vintage style this one.

And this is my new Tim Holtz stamp - Christmas Miracle.  An ATC sized Christmas Collage.  Love it.  On this card I played with some Tattered Angels Glam and Mist on the main image.  They are such fun to play with.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day.

Tag Fever

I have gone a bit 'TAG MAD' lately.  I think because they are easy to create in a short amount of time.  And also it is a fun way to play with new goodies that you have.  I created these ones the other day and thought I would share them with you.

This one was using a Tattered Florals  flower that I made a while ago from paper towel that I had used to soak up Glimmermist on another project.  Just 'vintaged up' a tag, stamped sentiment with Season of Joy {ippity} stamp, adhered flower and tied a bow with SU ribbon.  Easy!

On Friday night I headed to a friends house for a little party and decided that the 'Bubbles' needed a little dressing.  So I quickly whipped up this cute tag.

The Butterfly is a Unity one from the set called Embrace You and HUGE.  I love it.  And the sentiment says "Live in the moment and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering" and is from a Tim Holtz set.

And this last one is using Tim Holtz stamps too.  Love them, I managed to acquire some new sets last week at the Penrith Papercrafts Festival.

Love the man with the umbrella!  And the saying is so true - "Always know in your heart that you are far bigger than anything that can happen to you".  A saying I chant a lot when dealing with difficulty :)

Focus on Tattered Angels

Ok, as promised.............here are the pic's of my Focus On Tattered Angels class.

In this class we will make the booklet by creating all the backgrounds, the covers and then binding them all together.  You will have a cute little Tattered Angels book to take home and add your pictures to and decorate.

I had the best time creating these backgrounds.

We will use Glimmermist (or course) and Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze.

We will also use Tim Holtz stamps.  Sigh! I LOVE all these products.........they are so much fun.
I really hope you can come and join me.  It will be a whole lot of creative fun!!
This class is on Tuesday 23rd November at 10.30am - 12.30pm.  Your kit includes all you need to complete the booklet (no embellishments are supplied, you can use whatever you have at home or the store has a fantastic range to choose from).  Call the store on 1300 664 228 to book in.  Love to see you there.

Cheers,

Toot Tootin'

So I said I would be back today with my sample for my class at P2S, however I had a very nice surprise come in the mail yesterday and I thought I would "toot my own horn" and show you that instead.  I received two magazines in the mailbox yesterday, which only means that I had something featured in both (cause due to my house overflowing, I no longer subscribe!!).

I was very excited to see this feature in Scrapbooking Memories for recycling your scrapbook packaging into Christmas gifts.  Great idea for this time of year, go check out your stash to see what you can create.

And then this cutie card in Cardmaking, Stamping & Papercraft.  I just love the styling in this photo, they do such a great job at the magazine with presenting our creations.

Now, cause I promised a look at my class sample.................I will leave you with this.

And another promise to show you inside tomorrow.
Cheers

Inspiration Plus

I am SO inspired by all my Ippity stamps and can't seem to keep my hands off them............can you tell??  I whipped up these cute little tags this morning while waiting to go pick up my Mother-In-Law, who is coming to craft with me today.

I have used the Book It! stamp for the background of the tags and then used stamps from The Simple Things set over it.  This stamp set is adorable and so versatile.

Thanks for stopping by, I will be back tomorrow to show you the sample for my "Focus on Tattered Angels" class at P2S (I love it and hope you will too).

Dreaming of Summer

I was working on this page last night while thunder and lightening were happening outside my craft window.  Sigh!!  As you can imagine I was dreaming of fun, summer days while working with these photos.

On this page I have used the Ippity stamp set called "Love In Return".  It is a fantastic set for both scrapping and cardmaking.  Love it (of course you can grab your own over here!).

Love this saying.

I also played with the set called "Authentic Man" and made this card.

Masculine cards can be so hard to create and this set makes it so easy.  Again, you can purchase it over at www.ippitywithalex.blogspot.com
