Glimmer Mist and Vintage

......go hand in hand. And I love it!!

Here is what I created last night while playing.

The cardstock was pale pink, now it is gorgeous. I used the Tim Holtz mask to create the clock image.

And glimmer mist can be used on anything. Here I have used it on Kaiser paper flowers.
And I love this photo. My Mum loves my boys so much and I think this photo is testiment to that. She is gorgeous.

Thanks for stopping by, off to get pampered.
Bye

School Memories

Been super busy creating samples for up at the store and wanted to share the next few classes with you. Are you like me and have a bunch of school photos not scrapped? Or do you get just plain sick of scrapping in the same blah school colours? These school embellishments are fantastic for scrapping outside-the-box. They are 'vintagy' (I know - not really a word) and gorgeous. This class is on this Friday at 10am and we still have spaces left if you want to come along. Just phone the store on 1300 664 228.
I have also finished creating the cards for Mondays card making class. Two boy cards and two girlie cards. Here are the boy cards:

And here is a sneak peek of the girlie cards

These are both using new Kaiser products. Love, love, love the boy range (particularly the stamps, they are sooo grungy). We have spaces left in this class too, details can be found here.

Now I am off to play with some Glimmer Mist and Masks. (Getting ready for another class ;)

Thanks for stopping by

70 Sleeps

To What??????

Christmas!!!!!!

I heard this last night and can't believe it. It is only 10 and a bit weeks until the big man in red visits. Phew!! Time to get started on Christmas projects. And here is my first one.

This is the Kaiser Advent Calendar done in their new range of papers called Belle. I have "vintaged" it up with sepia ink and gold.

You too can create this beauty ready for the countdown to Christmas. Check out the class timetable and phone to book in. If you are local, I would love to see you there.

Classes are on Saturday 14th November at 10am and Monday 23rd November at 7.00pm.

While I love the vintage feel of my Advent Calendar, you can choose to do your calendar in one of three new Kaiser Christmas papers. They are gorgeous and you can check them out here.

Phone the store on 1300 664 228 to book a spot (be quick because classes are filling up fast).
Thanks for stopping by.

Back to Scrappin'

I am really enjoying having a reason to scrap again. I have taken such a long break from it and now I find I am inspired and motivated to get some pages done. Here is one I put together this morning:

I love these shabby chic papers I got from Pages 2 Scrap, and of course because I have all boys I had to find something else to use them with. This photo was taken by my friend Liz. She takes beautiful photos and even makes me look OK.

I had fun creating this flower.

Thanks for stopping by,

Like a Kid in a Candy Store

I went up to Pages 2 Scrap yesterday and got a sneak peek at the new products that they bought when they went to Brisbane. Tracey & I squealed like little girls :) I am sure they will be on the shelves anytime now so make sure you pop in for a look. I love new product.

And even more exciting is the photo printer they have in the store now. How cool is that? You can come to classes and print the photos you need, any size, immediately. And the machine makes cool calendars and a whole bunch of other stuff too.

So since I have had a sneak peek, I thought I would share one with you. Here is a look at the School Pages class I am doing on Oct 23rd at 10am.

I just love the paper we are using and isn't that bookworm just so darn cute? Click here for all the details you need to book in.

After designing the page for the class I had a bit of stuff left over, so I'll be back tomorrow to share with you a little project that I completed.

Bye for now
Alex

I like Pina Colada's.......

........and getting caught in the rain!!!!

I am so excited to share a Sneak Peek with you of another class I have planned for Pages 2 Scrap. I have used the Kaiser 'Pina Colada' range to create a fun, bright and funky mini album. Here is a sneaky look:

And another one:

If you would like to come along the class is on Friday 23rd October at 7.00pm. Cost is $30 and you need to call 1300 664 228 to book in. It will be lots of fun, so I hope if you are local you can come along.

Here is a scrapbook page that I would like to share with you too. I created this out of my scraps of Pina Colada papers. And I love the alphabet stickers, they make titles so easy. Have you seen the new packaging for Kaiser? I love the pockets. So handy for storing everything in their little folders. Very clever.
I think this is a cool photo of Sam jumping into the pool. Such great action, don't you think?

And I thought I would share with you my card for The Stamp Spot. I have used my new Fleur De Lis embossing folder and I think it looks great.

Well, off to pack for camping now. Have a fabulous weekend and I will be back to share with you sometime next week.

Bye
Alex
